I got this book from special person. I don’t like usual to read book about woman. I have ever read Prmudia’s book, but finally stopped  because setting of book like font, language style, actually it all make me eyesore. I try to read this book because the first is gift, and the second is famous book which its title is well known, but sure not many people what its real book look like. This can be suggestions to many woman in Indonesia that this book gave real meaning of emancipate.  Mrs. Kartini was struggle through her mind during her young age, and Start to run in society when she was adult. Mrs. Kartini’s mind was b orn because social conditions at that time, Holland’s government proudly prevent Indonesian people are to be clever. Education was limited, only for children or teenagers from “Priyayi” or government official. Actually, Kartini came from regent family, but keep hold Javanese cultural that prevent her to study, because must be prisoned until marriage age. My honorable was when found that in this book wrote Kartini didn’t  stop to study how bulid their social. She have critical and open mind and this also was been added with her books about western education most. She wants to reduce what good from other cultural into Indonesian social at that time, but keep good cultural of own Indonesian. You must read this book, so you are not wrong how to explain emancipate based our cultural, and how to be clever woman.
